Greetings from the Chairman:

I am pleased to announce that the 14th Congress of the International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI) is scheduled to take place from May 15th (Thursday) to May 17th (Saturday), 2025, at the Fukui International Activities Plaza. Following the web-based annual meeting of the 11th Congress of ISFRI, we are now returning to an on-site event for the second time in Japan with renewed enthusiasm. We express our sincere gratitude to all the members who have recommended and supported us. It is truly an honor for us to host this exceptional event.

In this congress, various research findings from diverse fields such as postmortem imaging, anthropology, crime scene investigation, forensic veterinary medicine, forensic photography, forensic radiography, forensic nursing, and others will be presented. We aim to contribute to the further enhancement of the daily tasks of the participants by providing a platform for the dissemination of knowledge.

We should operate this meeting using membership fees. However, we sincerely apologize for requesting your sponsorship. We deeply appreciate and seek your understanding and support for the purpose of this meeting.

Finally, we sincerely pray for the further development of everyone involved.

1. Reason for Requesting Donations:The estimated participation of approximately 200 individuals in this conference entails anticipated expenses totaling ¥12,330,290 for the preparation and operation of the event. While these expenses should ideally be covered by registration fees from participants, there are limitations to the amount that can be covered through conference fees alone. Therefore, a significant portion of the necessary expenses inevitably relies on external support. We sincerely apologize for the multitude of expenses but kindly request your generous support to ensure the successful outcome of this conference.

Exhibition Recruitment Guidelines

(1) Determination of Booth Allocation

Booth assignments will be determined by the organizing secretariat. (Scheduled for April 2025). Please leave the placement to the discretion of the organizing secretariat.

(2) Exhibits

Items within the scope specified for exhibition and those approved by the organizing secretariat will be accepted. For exhibits of unapproved pharmaceuticals, please contact the operating secretariat.

(3) Prohibition of Sale of Exhibits

It is prohibited to hand over exhibits in exchange for cash during the exhibition period.

However, limited exceptions may be granted for items approved by the organizing secretariat.

(4) Venue Management

While every effort will be made to ensure the best protection and management of the venue and exhibits, we cannot be held responsible for accidents, theft, loss, or personal injury within the booth due to natural disasters or other force majeure events.

(5) Changes to Venue, Exhibition Period, and Opening Hours

Due to unavoidable circumstances, changes to the venue, exhibition period, and opening hours may occur. Cancellation of exhibition applications due to these changes will not be accepted. Furthermore, compensation for any resulting damages will not be provided.

(6) Electricity All electricity usage will be optional. Please notify the conference secretariat in advance if you require electricity.

(7) Prohibited Items The height of exhibits is restricted to 2.1 meters. However, height restrictions for special decorations will be adjusted later. Additionally, direct manipulation of the floor (such as using duct tape or anchors) is not allowed. Please ensure that any necessary protective measures are installed by the exhibiting company at their own responsibility.

(8) Cancellation of Application Cancellation of applications after submission will not be accepted under any circumstances. Furthermore, please note that no refunds will be issued for exhibition fees that have already been paid. Please understand this policy in advance.
